Besides the connection for the net there is also a second socket. Could this be used for another display e.g. facing the other direction or what is the reason for it?
The second socket does not have any purpose. Originally it was for connecting another display but there were a lot of problems with this and the manufacturer dropped this option.
Can this radar be used in field hockey?
This radar is not suitable for hockey as the ball cannot be captured accurately.
Will this radar measure the sprinting abilities of players?
Yes, so long as the sprinting is within the measuring radius.
Is there a tripod available for the Speed Trac radar?
No, unfortunately there is no tripod available for Speed trac.
Will this machine measure throws from standing or with a run in?
Speed Trac will measure throws from both standing and run in.
Is the adapter for this item available?
Yes, an adapter can be ordered separately for this product. Price available on request.
Is there a bag or similar supplied with this order?
No there is no accessory to this order.
When does the speed start to be measured?
Measurement begins at approx. 10kmph.
Will this machine also work with ice hockey pucks?
How exact are the measurements? This machine is not suitable for ice hockey as the pucks cannot be detected.
How do I set up the measuring area and exactly what distance will be measured?
This machine is directed in the direction of the shot. By measuring the wide angle (40° wide, 60° high), the balls passing through will be measured. Speeds up to 199 kmph can be determined and displayed.
Have you ever measured the speed of uni hockey/floorball?
Does the machine also work reliably with this type of ball? Unihoc type light balls can also be measured. They reach speeds of 199kmph.
How far does this instrument measure?
Speeds can be measured from one to 30 metres.
