Can the side supports be folded back for better entry?
The bars on the side do not fold down. It is easy to get on.

How much weight will this sleigh support?
Snow Comfort will support up to 110 kg for the sitting person and the standing board will support approx. 100kg.

Can the person at the rear also brake and steer the sledge?
Our physically disabled son would like to use this product. This sledge is specially designed for physically disabled people. The person at the rear can steer and brake.

Is this sledge suitable for use over a long period of time by children with disabilities?
Yes, this product is great for children with disabilities. The child can be secured in place with the three belts. As the head protector is height adjustable, it can be even used by adults.

I would like to know if there are brakes on the standing board and if it is steerable?
From the picture there seem to be no grooves in the board for shoes as these recesses would be a disadvantage when pushing off. Where is the belt and how many are there? Does this product also come in other colours? The brakes are at the back on the standing plate. This product cannot be steered. There are recesses for the shoes both back and front. There are 3 belts at the pelvis, thigh and legs. The sledge is available in blue (in stock) and red. You may have to wait a bit longer for the red version.

How wide are the runners?
This sled is fully plastic with inlaid stainless steel runners. The runners are approx. 8cm wide in total, with the stainless steel runner approx. 1.2 cm wide.
